Ejisu (Ash), April 8, GNA - Some 3,058 candidates from 81 public and private Junior High Schools (JHS) would write the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Ejisu Juaben Municipality.

This would be held in 10 centres and on hand to ensure its successful conduct would be 127 invigilators, supervisors and assistant supervisors.

Mr Abraham Amponsah, the Municipal Education Examination Officer, told the Ghana News Agency at Ejisu on Friday that all was set for the examination.

He said adequate measures were in place to prevent any leakages of the papers and check cheating.

Mr Amponsah appealed to the candidates to make sure that they reported to the examination centres on time and to strictly abide by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of the BECE.

Teachers who would not have anything doing at the centres should also stay away.

Mr Amponsah said the invigilators and supervisors had received thorough briefing on how to go about their duties to ensure an incident-free examination.
