December 10, 2010 Kade, Dec 10, GNA - The Kade District Magistrate Court on Thursday issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Umoro Samaranu, a driver, charged with use of motor vehicle without advance warning triangle.
The prosecution said on November 02, Samaranu failed to provide a warning triangle when policemen demanded to see it.
Police Inspector D. T. Nartey said due to high rate of road accidents and indiscipline by drivers, a team of policemen from Akwatia and Asamankese districts mounted a special operation at Osenase.
It was during that exercise that the accused was arrested.
