Juaso Circuit Court presided over by Mr Jacob Boon, has granted Seth Ampofo 29, a driver GH¢3,000 bail for careless driving.
He pleaded not guilty to careless driving and negligently causing harm and would re-appear on February 16.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Stephen Dobara, prosecuting told the court that Ampofo on November 18, last year around 2.30 pm driving a Nissan Urvan bus on reaching Onwe knocked down Gideon Osei Asibey, a five-year-old school boy at a zebra crossing.
He said the victim had fractured leg and was rushed to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi where he was admitted and his leg amputated and after investigations accused charged with the offence.
