The Ghana Education Service (GES) yesterday assured the public that the second phase of the schools placement exercise would be completed in 14 days to enable candidates to know which schools they have been placed in.

A statement signed by Mr Samuel Bannerman-Mensah, Director-General of the GES, said the second batch of candidates would be expected to report for admission on November 5.

'The CSSPS Secretariat has taken delivery of the returns on the district registration exercise which commenced on October 1, 2007.'

Mr Bannerman-Mensah said the list would be sent to the district offices of the GES where the candidates were registered and noted that unplaced candidates were being placed in 220 Senior High Schools and Technical Institutes.

'All candidates who have not as yet been placed are kindly requested to exercise patience as each of them will be catered for under the second phase,' the statement said.
