Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has debunked reports that actress Joselyn Dumas has been appointed as Deputy Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President.
Rumors of her alleged appointment circulated widely on March 2, 2025, sparking discussions across media platforms. However, speaking to Joy FM, Kwakye Ofosu clarified that while the government had appointed several figures from the creative arts industry, Joselyn Dumas was not one of them.
“Miss Dumas has not been appointed to any such position. I can confirm that of the rest,” he stated.
In recent appointments, Kafui Danku was named Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority, with James Gardiner as her Deputy. Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) was assigned as Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, Rex Omar took on the role of Coordinator for the Black Star Experience, and Abeiku Santana was selected as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
