Ghanaian media personality Kojo Yankson has opined that marriage benefits women more than men.

During a guest appearance on a podcast, Yankson expressed his views on marriage, asserting that, from a practical standpoint, there are few tangible benefits for men in comparison to women.

He elaborated on his stance stating, "In terms of practicality, there is nothing in a marriage that benefits a man.

“It's hard to see how marriage benefits a man, especially when compared to the benefits it offers women.”

Yankson further emphasized his point by challenging the host and listeners to identify a single benefit that a married man enjoys over a single man, asserting that he would concede if such a benefit could be named.
