The leader of the National Liberation Congress, Stephen Atubiga, has criticized an infrastructure promise made by independent presidential candidate Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar.

He says politicians should focus on more pressing issues like food security.

Nana Kwame Bediako has pledged to dredge the sea from the coast to Kumasi if elected, in order to open up Ghana's eastern and western trade corridors.

However, Atubiga questioned the feasibility and priorities of such a massive project.

"My opponent freedom should know dredging the see to kumaşı iş imposible. No lands , bad landscape to hold that much water. Ghana can't afford such project for the next 40 plus years to come," Atubiga wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 19, responding to Bediako's proposal.

Atubiga argued that instead of unrealistic "impossible promises," politicians should find solutions to more immediate challenges faced by Ghanaians, such as putting food on the table.

"In all, the 3 square meals of Good food on the table for an average family in our country should be a must. Deemmmmm we politicians are very wicked with impossible promising for power," he stated.
