Dr. Doh Foundation, a non-governmental organization in its educational support in the Volta region has distributed some examination materials to some Basic Education Certificate Examination BECE candidates in four schools in the Ho Municipality ahead of their final exams starting Monday, August 7 2023.

The Medical Doctor and the Chief Executive Officer of Cidarvill Hospital in Hohoe, who doubles as the founder of Dr. Doh Foundation, Dr. Robert Kofi Doh tour the four schools with his examinations material as his contribution towards education support and development.

"I can remember years back when I was in J'H'S 3 and we were going for our exam, people were not able to get their basic needs for the exam like pen, pencil, mathematical sets etc which makes the examination difficult for them that's why I have put in charge as Dr. Doh Foundation, one of the Educational support to help Some Schools with some basic needs for the exam.

"The aim is to enable each and every final year student (Candidates) to take part in the examination and successfully come out with good results that will guarantee each to further his or her education into the Senior High Schools in the country believing that "this will make reduce stress on parents and especially those that don't have parents or care takers can also get something to write their exam, I 'm expecting, it will be a help to someone to become a Doctor, Teacher or a Journalist one day," he added.

Dr. Robert Kofi Doh got the opportunity to interact with teachers and the candidates, encourage them to sit up and allay any fear in the examination hall.

He urged them to take their studies seriously. "What I have for them is that they shouldn't have fear for the exam because majority have that fear which makes them to forget everything they were thought."

Dr. Doh in promising his educational support charged the candidates to strive for best results in order to earn more financial support from him at the Senior High Schools. He added that candidates with aggregate six (6) and ten (10) would benefit the support.

"And I'm using this opportunity to challenge the candidates that whoever gets the best aggregate in all the schools I have made the donation I am ready to support that student to continue his/her secondary education.

The former NDC parliamentary aspirant in the Ho Central Constituency visited Akrofu Agorve, Xeviwofe, Ho Heve EP Basic School, and Ho Dome EP basic school with rules, pencils and erazers.
