Feature Article The African Economic Liberation the SME Economic Revolutions
JUN 19, 2023 LISTEN

The African Economic Liberation & the SME Economic Revolutions, the big events may come and go; grand plans may open and fold; growth happens. Nevertheless, the human endeavor and the hardcore struggle of a few hundred million SMEs across African nations remain a standstill reality. Despite being pushed below the economic radar, still abandoned and still a victim of the greatest error of new economic thinking and being continually treated as too small is where the real liberation of economic freedom of Africa is hidden. Baby elephants only become giants, SMEs also grow, grow into giants and all it takes is giant minds.

To date, where is the grand inquisition of all nations on the sharply focused economic revival of the SME sectors, and where is the leadership open to facing bold new challenges and new authoritative narratives? There already lies on the horizon a great future of economic liberation. Still, the nation's visionaries are not expected to see too far away and too wide beyond the horizon in endless pursuit but rather less but sharply focused right on the horizon and measure the real human endeavor and real value creation far more clearly. It is all there, the resources, the talents and the power of entrepreneurialism. All it now needs and agenda.

Behold the Atlas: Pick up any prosperous nation of today, anywhere, any size, and observe how they never started as a big economy. Instead, they struggled as poor economies, with only small and medium businesses as their economic growth engines within the nation—the study of the last few centuries will provide all the needed guidance.

Today's economically challenged countries are mostly sleepy nations; they have yet to awaken to reality and organize themselves to build masses of small businesses, so eventually, a percentage will grow to become global giants, and a big economy may emerge.

Ignoring, rejecting, fearing, and abandoning small and medium enterprises and only chasing big giants is, in reality, strangling the nation of its future. As children grow into adult nations, SMEs grow into large businesses. The hidden danger is when SMEs are strangled and suffocated by bureaucracies, compliance, and destructive policies, in a slow, invisible decline nation lingers as poor economies.

The global reality: With 200 nations in the race, with only a minuscule percentage enjoying prosperity, it is not the FDI of sorts, or unstoppable flow of non-stop-foreign investments, or landing of global giants operations that will build their economies, but rather the idle citizenry waiting in limbo, needing SME mobilization, fertilizations, and optimization of available resources that will slowly grow the large national economy. What attracts foreign investments are up-skilled citizenry, productive societies, and stable economies and this is what is filling up special tax-free zones.

It's time to throw away social media, as it is the global system and the source of destroying societies. Therefore, best study the already free and globally available information on how to create and build economies. Degrees have no value, time to acquire global age street smartness, and no need to read newspapers but study atlas daily for global shifts and trade opportunities. Explore the endlessness of the world, limitlessness of trade as it is far more valuable than all the MBAs.

Fact: Job-creator mind is an entrepreneurial mindset. It craves to solve impossible ideas in pursuit of creating and originating strange and new organizations to achieve this. Parallel to this, the job seeker mindsets are highly trained, educated carrier mindsets, which deeply engage and build such organizations and ideas. Both differences are obvious, the passion is identifiably visible, and the bifurcation of directions and risk-taking is openly exposed. Study Mindset Hypotheses on Google

Fact: great success can only be achieved when both types of mindsets are engaged harmoniously toward common goals. Study the last 100 earth-shattering job-creator entrepreneurs and how they created and built global operations with unlimited job-seeker mindsets, creating iconic legends.

Where stands your national leadership on such entrepreneurial intellectualism? Where, if any, there exists a national agenda on the national mobilization of SME entrepreneurialism to place high-value SME exporters on up-skilling and manufacturers of re-skilling to quadruple productivity, performance, and profitability? Across the world in 2024 elections USA and India will open new global landscapes.

What part of the above narrative is so scary that such discussions are not allowed in most ministries of economies? When was the last time this was a significant open debate and bold discussion in your department with some authoritative conclusion?

An audit of current mindsets to find the proper balance is essential; what will a week-long audit save the nation and revitalize economic development, and what a deep immersion in such topics will bring as real value confidence to uplift national SME economic sectors?

What level of unique skills and depths of understanding is needed at the economics ministries to decipher such new mathematics, and what level of business creation experiences and global marketing skills are required to mold the right messaging and uplift 10% to 50% high potential SMEs across the nation's and upscale them to enter the big league.

Such monumental shifts are too complex; new thinking is considered offensive in lingering bureaucracies, and change is pre-declared as forbidden. National mobilization of entrepreneurialism is only conquered when national SMEs are identified, classified, and grouped via vertical demographics, further digitized, placed on up-skilling platforms to improve global exportability, and re-skilling manufacturers to produce better goods and services.
