THOUSANDS OF boxing and non-boxing lovers alike thronged the Word Miracle Church International (WMCI) Church, and paid their last respects to the boxing legend, Eddy Blay in a memorial service last Saturday.
A common theme of love and dedication, a virtue the deceased held in high esteem ran through the many tributes read prior to his internment at the Osu cemetery in Accra.
The Presiding Bishop of WMCI, Rt. Rev. Dr. Charles Agyin Asare consoled the deceased's family for loss of their beloved.
Bishop Asare however, urged them to put the past behind them, emphasizing that, it is the only way to see them maximize their potential in life.
