Badu Kobi Is Merely Telling Ghanaians What We Already Know

With Mr. Emmanuel Badu Kobi, leader and founder of the Glorious Wave International Church, it is all about a nimble-witted and vigilant reading of the public pulse and the general political temperature and climate of the not-so-neatly-gussied-up “prophetic” sensibilities, because his globally infamous pimping of the Scriptures and the Bible, in particular, has to be accounted for by those from whose nearly depleted troughs he has been voraciously feeding fat and profusely excreting for some two-odd decades now. Which simply means that there is absolutely no magic or wonderous deeds here, though that is precisely where the scandalously and abjectly docile flock of human sheep that he cavalierly calls his congregants would have the Asante-Bekwai native lead them. The magical world of Alice in Wonderland, that is.

It is a sheer act of deficit thinking of the kind that forces itself upon this self-chosen messenger of who knows who. It is not a “prophecy” in the traditional, radical and classical sense of the term; else, yours truly would be intimately in the know about the same. It is a veritably projective act of common sense hatched in a blighted community of the common-sense bereft (See “2024 Is a Win for NPP but It Will Be Bloody and Deadly – Prophet Badu Kobi” Modernghana.com 9/19/22). You see, one does not need to be specially endowed with the proverbial or metaphorical “Sixth Sense” to pontifically and credibly come to the inescapable realization and conclusion that, warts and all, when it comes to its established track-record of political or administrative performance and its electioneering campaign agenda, the Akufo-Addo-led government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has absolutely no rival or compeer in Fourth-Republican Ghana.

Yes, the New Patriotic Party has absolutely no rival or compeer, whatsoever, in the previous tandem National Democratic Congress-sponsored regimes of the late President John Evans Atta-Mills and the twice-trounced rag-tag follow-up travesty that was the John “European Airbus Payola” Dramani Mahama-led regime of the National Democratic Congress, of which Mr. Badu Kobi of the so-called Glorious Wave Church International, imperiously predicted a massive and seismic wave of electoral victory in the heated runup to the 2020 Presidential Election, as one that inextricably mirrored Pastor Badu Kobi’s patently noetic prediction of a bumper victory for then-US President Donald John Trump, the globally self-confessed “grabber of good, old pudenda.”

Definitely, you cannot call this middle-aged man who, by the way, legend has it, was named after the late Asantehemaa, Her Royal Majesty, Nana Afua Kobi, a “False Prophet” because his rather facile and lame-brained prediction of the outcome of Ghana’s 2024 Presidential Election is neither false nor prophetic. It is simply the raw and unvarnished truth of the shit that just hit the proverbial fan, when one pays sedulous attention to the rumblings and the grumblings and the crazy caws of Osagyefo Yagbonwura Kwame Gonja and the rest of the National Democratic Congress’ vanguard pack of hoodoo-hypnotized hoodlums and blood-sucking robber-barons and seditious kidnappers and piss-guzzling monsters. You see, the stark fact of the matter is that Pastor Badu Kobi has been down this slippery path before and done that way too many times as the Chief Priest of the JDM Presidency, or is it Mis-Presidency?

So, he, at least passably knows what these latter-day Palace Assassins are capable of, as well as what can easily spook them and make them take to their heels within the lightning-speed of a clap. He has weighed and sized them up and studiously come to the unimpeachable conclusion that there is absolutely no way that the Bole-Bamboi Goon can vanquish the Kum-Apem-a-Apem-Beba Warriors. And that is precisely what my Dear Brother Kobi has, this time around, boldly and fearlessly come public to let on to all Ghanaian citizens and other well-meaning people all over the globe who care about the destiny and good fortune of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Ghana.

By the way, we shall soon come to the other aspect or obverse side of the preceding equation, which has to do with the fact of the Washington, DC-based twin Bretton-Woods establishments of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) – much better known as The World Bank – having come to the definitive and irreversible and irrevocable conclusion that they have far greater confidence in doing business with the relatively more visionary and progressive operatives of the Akufo-Addo-led New Patriotic Party than they have in the Yagbonwura Kwame Gonja-led Murder Incorporated establishment of the ironically named National Democratic Congress. It is as simple as A, B, C and D.

All of which simply means that it all boils down to an inescapable matter of the better of two scandalously wobbly governance establishments, as the readily accessible records presently show, it matters absolutely zilch which of the country’s two major political parties gets voted into Jubilee House come December 7, 2024, or thereabouts. The fact of the matter is that The World Bank and the IMF will be preparing our bitter-leaf national-development soup of policy agenda for us, at least as our Joint Senior Partners and eager collaborators. And if the three-piece suited boys and girls of the Bretton-Woods establishments say that they have far greater confidence and trust in playing American Tennis with Cousin Ken and Uncle Bawumia, rather than my rancorous next-door neighbor Seth Terkper and bugle-playing Aladura choirmaster Cassiel Ato Forson, or even the Fufu-Kisa-Faced Fiifi Kwetey, tell me, Dear Reader, who are we to throw tantrums and hissy fits by pretending as if we never tasted dog-meat puddings made by NPP Chefs and NDC’s amateur Cooks?
