Ghanaian asset management company, Tesah Capital has launched a digital hub to provide convenience for its clients and potential clients on the market.

In addition, the firm has introduced two new Collective Investment Schemes (CIS) to not only give clients the chance to make money but to also help grow the economy of the country.

The launch of the digital hub and the introduction of the schemes was done on Friday, November 26, 2021, at the Allied Heights building located at Abalenkpe, Accra.

The two schemes including Tesah Treasury Trust and Tesah Future Fund which are already available on the new Tesah Capital App, can be accessed on the web platform as well as through the USSD service via *447*707#.

Delivering an address at the launch of the schemes, Eugenia Basheer who is Managing Director of Tesah Capital said today marks another step forward in Tesah Capital’s quest to make investment processes easy and accessible to everyone.

She said investment should not be the preserve of a few affluent people but everyone noting that through Tesah Treasury Trust and Tesah Future Fund, everyone would be introduced no matter their financial standings.

“We aim to change the rhetoric by creating avenues for everyone including those who do not have a lot, to create wealth through investments while those who have a lot also continue to get more.

“Collective Investment Schemes are a key tool to achieving his. Collective Investment Schemes allow everyone to take advantage of scale to benefit from diversification of securities and expert fund management services at lower costs,” Eugenia Basheer said at the launch.

Emphasising that Collective Investment Schemes provide huge advantages to investors and economic growth and development, the Tesah Capital Managing Director noted that it is crucial the citizenry is encouraged to jump onto such schemes.

Gracing the occasion as the special guest of honour, Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Rev. Daniel Ogbarmey Tetteh confirmed that Tesah Capital’s newly introduced Tesah Treasury Trust and Tesah Future Fund have both passed the necessary checks.

In a message to encourage the general public to invest, he advised that the necessary inquiries should always be made before any money is given to a fund manager.

“I wish to tell the investing public not to be shy about investing. It still pays to invest your money because if you leave your money just as savings.

“One of the [investing options] you can select is the Collective Investment Schemes. Here we are Tesah is introducing two new Collective Investment Schemes [the Tesah Treasury Trust and the Tesah Future Fund]. Tesah Future Fund:

The Tesah Future Fund Limited [The Fund] is a balanced fund that seeks to provide capital appreciation and income for its shareholders.

The Fund also has an optional insurance component which pays an assured sum if one is unable to continue to invest to reach a set target due to incapacitation or death.

Tesah Treasury Trust:

The Tesah Treasury Trust is an open-ended unit trust offered to investors who are seeking to maximize short-term income while preserving capital with close to zero risk.

The Tesah Treasury Trust is a money market unit trust that will be invested only in government and quasi-government securities such as treasury bills, notes, and bonds.
