Ghanaian actress, TV presenter and producer, Ama K Abebrese is set to host her first major TV show in Ghana, titled A Day in The life. The first episode of this new lifestyle and chat show air this upcoming Sunday, September 2 2012.
The series will see Ama K. spending a day with different distinguished celebrities and personalities, documenting their interesting lifestyles and activities.
Ama K. comments, “It is not your average lifestyle/talk show as the show gives an insight into the personalities of the guests. You get to see a whole line up of activities they are involved in and see what an average day is like in their lives”.
Ama K. Abebrese who began her TV career in the UK, is no stranger to interviewing top personalities. She has interviewed UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, rocker Mick Jagger, football legend, Kevin Keegan, Akon, Ziggy Marley, Idris Elba, Harrison Ford, Rihanna and several international super stars.
Since her return to Ghana, Ama has been concentrating on her acting career which has seen her win several awards including the 2011 African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in A Leading for 'Sinking Sands'. She is also the Head of Local Productions at Viasat 1 Ghana.
'A Day in The Life' airs every Sunday evening at 8pm.on Viasat1 and it is one of the many initiatives to bring more Ghanaian related programmes to our viewers.
