A former Cheif Executive Officer of Accra Hearst of Oak, Neil Armstrong Mortagbe has insisted that his former side should not be ruled out of winning the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
After two matches played, the Phobian club are occupying the 16th position with no point.
Hearts will host struggling Ebusua Dwarfs in the matchday three fixtures of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, Neil Armstrong believes it will not make sense to rule out the Ghana Premier League heavyweight from the title race.
According to him, he is convinced his side can end their nine years trophyless jinx.
"It's an 18-club league and each club will play 34 matches, I think it's too early to pass judgement on Hearts of Oak," he told FOX FM.
"I know it's hard for Hearts of Oak fans to accept the situation but once we have long league, there is more time and things will change.
"The year 2020 is an action year with less talk, Hearts of Oak will be successful, I have no doubt about it," he added.
