Barcelona To Unveil KP Boateng Today

Kevin-Prince Boateng will officially be unveiled as a Barcelona player at Camp Nou mid-day Tuesday.

The 31-year-old became a surprise January signing by the La Liga giants on Monday in a loan deal from Sassuolo for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.

The Catalans have paid €2m as a loan fee for Boateng and have a purchase option for €8m if they want to keep him after the summer.

Barcelona confirmed his arrival on Monday after a day of speculation and also announced he’ll be taking up shirt No. 19.

Schedule of events for Boateng’s unveiling (in GMT):

-10.30am, contract signing in the President Suñol Box, in a private ceremony.

-11.15am, photo session on the field at Camp Nou.
-12.00pm, press conference at Camp Nou
