National Chapters Organizer for Hearts of Oak, Paa Kofi Sunsum, has called on the majority shareholder of the club, Togbe Afede XIV to sack all board members who don’t hold the virtue of the position.
After ending the 2016/17 season trophy-less, the Phobians have been in media limelight recently as supporters seek for a massive shakeup at the management level ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
However, Sumsum is convinced the current board members are not helping the course of Togbe Afede XIV and has entreated the owner to sack them all and bring new faces around.
“Board members should be people of substance who can help players in times of need but members of the board are graving for players and supporters to be sold before he gets paid and this doesn’t auger well and they can’t offer any advice to Togbe Afede XIV.
“Togbe should sack all his board members and bring new people on board because the current boards are either involved in politics or other things which have taken away their concentration on the club.
“Hearts players run away when they see the current board members instead of embracing them, so I urge him to sack them all,” he added.
Stakeholders meeting is expected to take over the weekend as various issues pertaining the clubs downfall is expected to be discussed.
