It is reportedly the second the forward owns in Kano, 200 miles north of his hometown Jos.

He posted a number of pictures to social media of his new acquisition, with Musa seen filling up different cars and posing with staff.

Business-savvy Musa, 24, who earns £60,000 a week at the King Power, also has a sports and fitness centre as well and other properties in the city, according to reports.

He began his career in Kano scoring 18 goals in 25 games for the Pillars before earning moves to VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and eventually Leicester.

Musa will now be hoping to fuel his career on the pitch after featuring just once for the Foxes this season – in the Carabao Cup win over Sheffield United in August.

The pacey frontman has scored just two Premier League goals in 21 appearances since his club-record £16million move to Leicester in July 2016.

Despite his club woes, Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr insists Musa is instrumental to the national team and has proven himself in the Foxes’ reserves.

He said: “He is not on the third team but the second one. He played also in the cup game and his influence in the team is good and positive.

“His attitude is very positive on the team. His World Cup experience is needed

“He is a player who can have a very positive influence on his partners on the field of play. And that is why he is with us and I am happy to have him with us.”

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare revealed he had plans for Musa this season.

In August, he said: “They’re all in my thoughts, Musa being one of them.

“Players will tell you they want a run of games. When you come on this side, it’s very hard to give them a run of games because sometimes there are other people in front of them.

“He’s shown glimpses and we have to make sure they’re all ready.”
