Ghana's ambassador to India, His Excellency Mike Ocquaye has visited defender Abdul Razak Yussif who suffered a serious head injury during his country's 1-0 defeat to the USA in the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

The youngster had to be rushed to the hospital after he collided with American captain Josh Sargeant in a nasty aerial challenge.

Mike Ocquaye visited the Koforidua-based center-back at the Fortis Escort Heart Hospital in Delhi where he is receiving treatment.

After undergoing cranial and cervical CT scans, the player has been told to observe protocol by spending few more days in the hospital for further observation.

The Ghanaian youngster has been ruled out of the Black Starlets next match against hosts India on Thursday.
