Former Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) J.Y. Appiah has called on the Ghana Football Assoiciation to oust acting General Secretary Isaac Addo if charges of sexual harassment by FIFA leveled against him are true.

FIFA has slapped a nine and six-month suspension on the acting Ghana FA General Secretary Isaac Addo and Executive Committee member Nanabeyin Eyison over a scandalous sexual scandal which has hit the West African nation.

The two top Ghanaian FA officials have been ordered to stay away from the sport pending the final determination of the appeal after a female attendee claimed she received 'unwarranted and unwanted' contact from the two officials.

And following the charge, the former GHALCA Boss believes that it is a huge indictment on the image of the Ghana FA and would want the GS to be ousted from office.

'For me, I think he must be moved from office if the charges prove to be true,' J.Y. Appiah told Happy FM.

'Such an accusation has a great telling effect on the image of the Ghana Football Association and taking such a decision will help the federation a lot,' he added.

Isaac Addo has come under huge pressure since assuming the position of an acting General Secretary of the federation with many questioning his competencies for the office.
