World Cup Ghana can still qualify for Russia 2018 - Omane Boamah
OCT 25, 2016 LISTEN

Communications Minister, Omane Boamah, is confident Ghana will make a fourth successive World Cup appearance despite the Black Star’s stuttering start.

The team has had its problems well documented following a rift between the GFA and the Sports Ministry.|

Despite these trying times, the Minister is upbeat about Ghana’s chances.

For him, the team have had to deal with several of these hurdles.

“We had to play South Africa when they were having all the big players but Ghana was able to beat them.

Upsets may come but let all supports Ghana to victory and I believe we can do that.”

“The ministry has their own reasons of doing what is going. A big example is the payment of monies but I hope it will end and help us qualify for the world cup.

“I have known Nii Lante Vanderpuye in the sports field for some years now and so are the members of the FA and I hope they will all be in agreement and move on in the name of Ghana.”

The Black Stars will face Egypt on November 13 infront of an anticipated 75,000 fans.
