On 5th May, 2012, Amidaus Professionals recorded the MTN FA Cup's biggest upset by eliminating Asante Kotoko on Saturday at the Tema Stadium.
A goal in either half from Selasi Adjei helped condemn Kotoko to a shocking 2-0 defeat by second tier side, sending the Ghana champions out of the competition.
Kotoko, losing finalist in the previous competition, thus miss the chance to seal a season's double after winning the Premier League.
Adjei opened the scoring in the 9th minute when his strike deflected off John Kuffour to beat goalkeeper Isaac Amoako.
Kotoko returned from the break determined to pull level but Amidaus held them in check.
And as the minutes ticked, they grew in confidence, handing Kotoko a blow in the 83rd minute when Adjei scored again.
The attacker nicked the ball from Kuffour's foot and slotted past Amoako who had come off his line in an attempt to save the situation.
