Vipers beat Shalke


Winneba, (C/R) Nov. 21, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers played a determined game to beat Odonase Schalke O4 1-0 in their First Division League match at the Winneba Sports College on Saturday.

After Kumasi based referee Patrick Kojo Kyeremanteng signalled the two teams into action it was Vipers who made victory certain in the 16th minute when inside left Francis Yankey rounded up two defenders to score the match winner.

On resumption of the second half, both teams played a determined game but there were no further scores until full time. In another match, Sekondi Wise Fighters whipped Tarkwa United 3-1.
