Accra, Oct. 16, GNA - Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana defeated Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants Ghana (CIAM-G) 3-0 to win the Novelty Football Match played at the Kaneshie Sports Complex on Saturday.
The match, which formed part of activities marking the third anniversary celebration of CIAM-G, saw Edward Adofo opening the scores for the Bankers in the 10th minute. The Bankers continued their dominance on their opponents and scored the second goal through Michael Asenso in the 30th minute to end the first half.
Gustav Robertson sealed the doom of the Administrators when he netted the third goal 10 minutes to full time. Mr Albert Agbozo, Acting Chief Executive of the National Sports Council called on corporate bodies to help promote sports.
