Accra, Aug. 20, GNA - Prime "X" Company Limited, producers of Gino Tomato paste have joined the group of sponsors for the novelty Homowo Cup competition with 15 million cedis.
The competition which begins next Friday, August 27, will see four Accra-based Premier League clubs, Hearts of Oak, Liberty Professionals, Accra Great Olympics and Real Sportive vying for the 15 million cedis prize money.
The company is assisting the competition with 12 million cedis cash and its products of Gino tomato paste, Gino pasta, Gino Oil and other Gino products worth three million cedis.
Mr David Shelte Lettinga, Marketing Manager of the company told the commemoration with this years' annual Homowo festival.
He said this is a better opportunity for them to serve the Ghanaian consumers to make them happy, since their attachment to the tournament and the festival will give them the needed honour.
Mr Shelte Lettinga expressed the hope that Gino will be a popular product after the three-day soccer event as well as provide fans with the needed entertainment.
Gino becomes the third company to be associated with the novelty competition, which is being organised by Phoenix Consult Limited and Global Media Alliance.
