Rangers Jets Out to Ghana Today

Enugu Rangers will leave today for a date with Ghana's popular side Ashanti Kotoko, in a CAF Confederations Cup Group A tie on Sunday.

Edwin Eze, Rangers PRO said they are to acclamatize in Ghana for at least two days before the Sunday match with the red shirted 'Porcupines' of Ghana, who are rated highly in the group.

Rangers players also shared optimism on their way to the Ghanaian capital, Accra for the Kumasi battle

Skipper Sam Okoye promised to stand between the Ghanians and goals. "It will be difficult for them to score me in Ghana. We have reached a stage where everybody in our team must show extra commitment".Okoye said.

Rangers 'tempest', Junior Osagie said "I will score in Ghana. No matter the water tight defence they present, I will break through and score".

Ugo Okeke, another towering stricker averred, "I have already scored three goals in the competition this year, my target is to emerge as the highest goal scorer in the competition this year".

Rangers are in the same group with Ashanti Kotoko of Ghana, Petro Athletico of Angola and El-Hilal of Sudan
