Ghanaian-born ex-Dutch international George Boateng has expressed his disappointment with Middlesbrough's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Middlesbrough took the lead but allowed Rudy Gestede to equalise at the dying embers for Blackburn to deny the host the maximum points.
And, Boateng who spent six seasons at the Riverside in the Premier League is disappointed with the outcome of the game.
“Such a shame for @Boro to concede so late in the game. Was it a foul and why didn't the referee see it for the goal?,” he tweeted.
Middlesbrough fifth on the log after the draw.
