'I want to thank the Medeama management and the President (Moses Armah) for the opportunity given me and the support,' he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

'Once we continue to remain football people, I am sure our paths will cross again in future.'

'I have returned to the College and for now I am not in discussions with any club,' he adds.

Abubakar has risen through the ranks to become one of the finest coaches in the Ghanaian topflight.
