
Accra , May 21, GNA - Ghana has named a 21-man squad for this weekend's Eight Nation Invitational tourney fixed for 25 May to 3 June in Cape Town, South Africa.
Coach Orlando Wellington called up an entirely locally-based squad, with five from the second-tier league.
A statement from the GFA said the Black Satellites will leave for Cape Town on Monday (May 21) night for the tournament.
Ghana are drawn in Group A alongside Argentina, Nigeria and hosts South Africa whilst Brazil, Cameroon, Kenya and Japan make up Group B.
The Black Satellites will open their campaign on 25 May when they take on arch rivals Nigeria at the Athlone Stadium.
Ghana will then play South Africa at the Cape Town Stadium two days later before playing Argentina on 29 May.
The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals.
