Stephen Appiah GUINNESS, official beverage sponsor of the Black Stars, has urged the senior national team to reach for greatness in their World Cup qualifying match against Benin in Kumasi on Sunday.

A goodwill message signed by Mrs. Pamela Djamson-Tettey, Corporate Relations Director of the company, indicated, “As you lace up your boots on Sunday to do battle with your Benin counterparts, our belief is that you will strive to reach for greatness. We believe your skills, dedication and teamwork will help you win each and every qualifying match in the 2010 World Cup series.

“As Ghana's most celebrated business and the official beverage sponsor of the team, GGBL is not only proud to be associated with the Black Stars but also committed to supporting the team as it begins the race to book a place in South Africa World Cup in 2010.

“On behalf of the management and employees, our valued consumers and trade partners, we urge you to display the qualities of greatness you have always demonstrated in order to defeat your Benin counterparts in Kumasi”, the message concluded.
