A nine-man Heracles Almelo were beaten 1-0 by Sparta Rotterdam. Former national under 23 central defender Emmanuel Boakye and team skipper Kwame Quansah both lasted the entire duration of the game for Heracles.

In the lower Division, former Vitesse Arnhem forward Fred Benson scored the opener for RKC Waalwijik in their 2-0 win over MVV Maastricht

Under 20 striker Ransford Osei played 39 minutes for leaders Maccabi Haifa as they split points with Maccabi Petah Tikva.

On the African continent, Eric Bekoe helped Petrojet to a smooth 2-0 triumph over Ittihad Al Shortah.
