Paintsil leads players abroad

A nine-man Heracles Almelo were beaten 1-0 by Sparta Rotterdam. Former national under 23 central defender Emmanuel Boakye and team skipper Kwame Quansah both lasted the entire duration of the game for Heracles.

In the lower Division, former Vitesse Arnhem forward Fred Benson scored the opener for RKC Waalwijik in their 2-0 win over MVV Maastricht

Hoffenheim have completely surrendered their Bundesliga lead after two draws in succession.

This weekend's draw was at home to Hannover 96. The Villagers drew 2-2 with Hannover at the
