KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko is close to making one of the major signings on the local scene as the Porcupine Warriors are reported to be in talks with former Hearts player Louis Agyeman.

The two parties, according to information available to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS have had fruitful talks lately and hopefully a deal would be reached soon.

A source who divulged this information noted that Agyeman has shown great desire to don the famous red jersey of Kotoko next season, noting that the player would commit his future to Kotoko latest by the close of Thursday.

Agyeman, it would be recalled, was part of the Hearts team that pipped Kotoko to lift aloft the 2004 Africa Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium.

After impressing at Hearts he journeyed to South Africa for greener pastures but failed to make an impact, culminating in his return to the country.

Until Kotoko showed interest in him, Agyeman was linked with Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals.
