A top performance from Dreams Football Club has seen the side beat Stade Malien 2-1 in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The star man for the game is experienced striker John Antwi who bagged an impressive brace to secure victory for the MTN FA Cup defending champions.

Dreams FC today played as a guest to Stade Malien in Mali in the first leg encounter of their tie in the CAF Confederation Cup.

In the game today, a Yoro Diaby strike in the 53rd minute gave the hosts the lead after both teams settled for a draw at halftime.

However, thanks to the spirited efforts from Dreams FC, the team managed to come from behind to turn things around.

Goals from John Antwi in the 66th and 73rd minutes respectively propelled Dreams FC to cruise to an important 2-1 win.

The victory gives the Ghanaian side a good advantage ahead of the second leg of the quarter-final clash in the CAF Confederation Cup.

A great win by Dreams. Puts Ghanaian clubs firmly back in CAF competitions, after nearly ten years of misery. Added to the recent back-to-back successes of both our Black Princesses and Black Meteors, it appears Ghana football is slowly rediscovering it's Juju in competent, tenacious footballing.
