Experienced Ghanaian striker, Abednego Tetteh put up an outstanding debut performance for Bibiani Gold Stars on Saturday afternoon to help the team to defeat Tamale City FC 3-2 in the Ghana Premier League.
After leaving King Faisal this month, the former Hearts of Oak striker signed for the Bibiani-based club on Friday after he passed a mandatory medical examination.
While he will not start the game against Tamale City FC, Abednego Tetteh was given his chance to impress the fans in the second half when the team was trailing.
The hosts took the lead as early as the 6th minute when poster boy Sampson Eduku equalised.
Before the break, Gold Stars restored parity to the game after Emmanuel Appau scored in injury time.
After coming on in the second half, Abednego Tetteh scored his first in the 68th minute to make the score 2-2.
Late in the game when the match was heading for a draw, the veteran scored his second in the 6th minute of added time to win the game for Gold Stars in dramatic fashion.
