Tanzanian powerhouse, Simba SC are in talks with former Ghana coach, Kwesi Appiah to take up a role as the technical director at the club, Oyerepa FM have reported.
The 63-year-old has been unattached for the past two years following his contract expiration in 2019.
Appiah led the Black Stars to the Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Egypt where the team exited at the Round of 16.
According to a report, the Tanzanian giants have established contact with the Kotoko legend to take up the role of the technical director of the club.
Despite their offer, Kwesi Appiah speaking in an interview with Sompa FM recently confirmed that he has applied for the vacant Black Stars job.
Kwesi Appiah is famously remembered for leading Ghana to secure qualification for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
