Mohammed Kudus: Our focus is now on Uruguay clash after beating South Korea

Ghana forward, Mohammed Kudus has indicated that the Black Stars’ attention has been switched to the crunch meeting with Uruguay after the pulsating victory over South Korea on Monday afternoon.

The Ajax sensation was the star for the Black Stars today and bagged a brace to propel Ghana to a much-needed 3-2 win in the second Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking in a post-match interview after being adjudged Man of the Match, Mohammed Kudus decided to give credit to his teammates for a top display to overcome the South Koreas.

“I think I will give it to everyone. I think all the players on the pitch and on the bench,” Mohammed Kudus shared.

According to him, the Black Stars are immediately switching attention to the final Group H match against Uruguay later this week.

“We got the three points today so the focus is on Uruguay. We go with the same mentality and the same attitude and I know everyone is up for it,” the talented forward noted.

Ghana takes on Uruguay on Friday, December 2. The Black Stars need just a point to progress to the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
