Former President, John Dramani Mahama has reacted to Ghana’s important win against South Korea on Monday afternoon.

In a post on his social media, the Ghanaian statesman has congratulated the national team for the important win.

According to him, it is important that the Black Stars stay focused and get rid of complacency ahead of the final Group H match against Uruguay.

“Congratulations to the Black Stars for this relieving and vital victory against South Korea.

“This win sets the stage for our next game against Uruguay; No room for complacency,” ex-President John Dramani Mahama posted on Facebook.

The Ghana Black Stars today put up a very good performance to survive the tough test presented by South Korea.

In the end, a brace from Mohammed Kudus and a strike from Mohammed Salisu did the trick for the Black Stars.

Next for Ghana, the Black Stars will face off with their counterpart from Uruguay in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Friday, December 2.
