Eastern Regions identifies sports heroes/heroines

Accra, Nov 28, GNA - A provisional list of 41 sports heroes and heroines from the Eastern Region have put in the public domain by the Eastern Regional office of the National Sports Council (NSC) for scrutiny to confer special honours on the selected ones.

A statement signed by Mr Charles Aryeh, Regional Sports Development Officer said a committee to be set up by the Eastern Regional Co-ordinating Council would later vet the list, after which an Awards Nite would be held in honour of those selected.

Eleven administrators, seven coaches and 22 athletes were mentioned in the statement copied to the GNA Sports on Sunday.

They are:
