CAF Confed Cup: Second leg of Hearts of Oak’s tie against JS Souara to be played in December

The second leg of Hearts of Oak’s encounter in the CAF Confederations Cup playoff will be played in December, Modernghana Sports can report.

The Ghana Premier League champions last Sunday suffered elimination from the CAF Champions League after a 6-1 humiliation in the second leg encounter against Wydad AC in Casablanca.

Having dropped into the CAF Confederations Cup, Hearts of Oak has set sight on making it into the group stage.

Today at the draw for the playoffs, the Phobians have been drawn to face Algerian outfit JS Souara.

For the first leg of the tie, Hearts of Oak will play host to the opponent on a date expected to be selected between November 26-28, 2021.

A week later in December, the Phobians will be required to travel to Algeria to honour the second leg of the date.

CAF in due time will select a date between December, 3-5, 2021, for that reverse fixture.
