The Ghanaian duo of Bernard Tekpetey and Elvis Manu featured for Ludogorets Razgrad on Saturday evening as they beat CSKA Sofia to lift the Bulgaria Super Cup.
The two players were impressive for their club last season where they finished the 2020/201 Bulgaria top-flight league as Champions.
Yesterday at the Vasil Levski National Stadium, Ludogorets locked horns with CSKA Sofia in the Super Cup to usher in the 2021/2022 football season.
On the matchday, although Bernard Tekpetey and Elvis Manu did not start the games, they were second-half substitutes and played key roles to help the team triumph over the opponent.
Courtesy of goals from Alex Santana, Dominik Yankov, Pieros Sotiriou, and Mavis Tchibota, Ludogorets thumped CSKA Sofia 4-0 to lift the Bulgaria Super Cup.
As a result, Bernard Tekpetey and Elvis Manu celebrated late into the night with teammates with boosted confidence ahead of the start of the new football league season.
