Matthew Cudjoe's agent is not helping him, says ex-Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has taken a swipe at Samuel Anim Addo for failing to manage Matthew Cudjoe properly.

The winger was exciting to watching during his short stay at Asante Kotoko last campaign.

Ahead of the 2021 CAF U-20 Championship which was hosted in Mauritania, Cudjoe was highly tipped to take the tournament by storm.

However, the young lad failed to impress despite Ghana winning the ultimate by beating Uganda.

But Agyemang Badu speaking in an interview believes the hype has gotten into the head of the young talent which needs to be controlled before we lose such a talent.

"He had a lot of attention from Kotoko and his visit to Bayern Munich for trials but I think the hype has gotten into his head and he seems to be losing focus," he told Adanseɛ Sports.

"His agents should sit him down and let him know he has more to achieve and he has the talent to be great.

"He [Matthew Cudjoe] shouldn't allow the hype to get into his head and he must also do extra training to keep his fitness, technical and tactical awareness as a player," he added.

Matthew Cudjoe will be hoping to recapture his form as he returns to Legon Cities.
