Ghanaian international Bernard Morrison came off the bench to score a brace last night in Simba SC humiliating 4-1 triumph over Sudanese giants Al Hilal at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in their opening fixture of the Simba Super Cup.

The Tanzanian champions unveiled the Simber Super Cup, a mini-competition pitting themselves, Al Hilal and Congolese champions T.P Mazembe which will serve us preparation for them towards the upcoming Champions League.

Simba SC were held to a score drawn game at the end of the first half after that 39th-minute opener from Rally Bwalya got cancelled out just on the stroke of half time.

Perfect Chikwende made it 2-1 on the 72nd to unsettle the visitors leaving an open encounter in Da res Salaam in the last eighteen minutes.

Ghanaian Bernard Morrison rose off the bench to steal all headlines in Tanzania after scoring two spectacular goals within three minutes to grind the win for Simba.

The former Ashgold man took off from three defenders before plotting into the bottom left corner to make it 3-1 on the 87th minute.

Also, Morrison initiated a build-up, again collected a pass just behind the edge of the box and sent in a fine curler straight into the top right corner to seal everything for the Kariakoo-based outfit.

The Kings will now lock horns with T.P Mazembe in their second and final game of the competition.

The Reds of Mzimbazi will travel to play AS Vita Club in their opening game of the 2020/21 CAF Champions League at the Stade de Matryx in Kinshasa.
