After playing against Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League, the head coach for Ebusua Dwarfs Ernest Thompson says there are a lot of loopholes in the team of the Kumasi-based club.

Dwarfs on Wednesday afternoon hosted the Porcupine Warriors club at the Cape Coast Stadium to clear an outstanding match in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Following a tense 90 minutes of soccer action, a headed goal from defender Christopher Nettey handed Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win against Ebusua Dwarfs.

Assessing the winning team at the end of the game, Coach Ernest Thompson says he was not impressed with the performance of the opponent.

According to him, Asante Kotoko played like any other team he has faced in the Ghana Premier League this season.

“Kotoko played just like any of the other premier teams. I won't say they're higher because they have a lot of loopholes in the team, especially their attack is not strong,” Coach Ernest Thompson said in his post-match interview.

The Ebusua Dwarfs gaffer continued, “Kotoko needs to keep on working hard, they are not there yet they still have a lot of work to do. They need to keep working because nobody is above anybody.”

Asante Kotoko after the narrow win against Ebusua Dwarfs now sits third on the Ghana Premier League table and just one point behind leaders Karela United.
