CK Akonnor visits Great Olympics training grounds [Photos]

Black Stars gaffer, C.K Akonnor has visited the traning of Accra Great Olympics to familiarize himself with players and officials of the club.

The visit forms parts of Akonnor's objective of coming into close contact with players in the Ghana Premier League.

Coach Akonnor was at the Accra Sports Stadium when Accra Hearts of Oak drew 2-2 with Ashantigold in match week 2 of the Ghana Premier League.

Coach Akonnor who has served notice of given local players the opportunity to be in the national team has already invited five of them in his 11 months in charge of the stars.

Akonnor played his official game in a doubleheader against Sudan in the 2021 African Cup of Nations [Afcon] qualifiers last month.

The 46-year-old will be hoping to secure a qualification when the qualifiers resume next year March 2021.

The Ghana Football Association [GFA] has tasked Akonnor to win the next Afcon in Cameroon.
