The head coach for Eleven Wonders, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu is confident his team can compete and win the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.
The Techiman-based club has had a very strong start to the new top-flight league season. In the team’s first match of the campaign, they drew 1-1 with giants Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium in a game where they were the better side.
Subsequently, Eleven Wonders posted a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs in a home game and currently sits second on the Premier League standings ahead of Matchday 3.
Speaking in a post-match interview after the win last weekend, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu expressed optimism in his team’s chances of winning the league title as he sounded a warning to the other clubs in the division.
“We have said that we want to have efficiency, we want to have commitment and then we want to have more productivity. Let every team be aware of Eleven Wonders because we for us we are a team that can win the championship and that we want to play like champions and you have seen us play like champions today,” the highly-rated tactician noted.
Up next for Eleven Wonders, the team will face off with Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
