Goalkeeper Frank Boateng Over The Moon After Joining Medeama SC

Highly-rated goalkeeper, Frank Boateng has expressed his delight after sealing his move to Medeama Sporting Club (SC) ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season.

Following successful talks in the last few weeks, the experienced goalkeeper has today been signed by the Tarkwa-based club to provide the needed squad boost for the upcoming campaign.

“We are happy to announce the signing of experienced goalkeeper Frank Boateng. Boateng is joining the Mauve and Yellows on a three-year deal until 2023.

"Boateng joins on a free transfer after ending his three-year association with Ashantigold”, a statement on the website of Medeama SC has announced today.

Speaking in his first interview, Frank Boateng says he is overjoyed and looks forward to playing his part to help his new club achieve its goals.

“I am extremely delighted to be here and I look forward to being part of this club’s fantastic brand.

“I am ambitious and it's important I joined a club that drives that ambition and I look forward to contributing immensely to the Medeama project. This was an opportunity I couldn’t let it pass and it's gratifying to be part of this fantastic club”, the goalie noted.

Frank Boateng continued. “I am now ready to take the next step in my career and there is no higher standard in the Ghana Premier League than Medeama Sporting Club at the moment”.

The shot-stopper has joined Medeama SC after spending 3 fantastic seasons with Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC.
