Ghanaian forward, Emmanuel Gyasi featured for Spezia Calcio on Sunday afternoon as the team played its first-ever match in the Italian Serie A against Sassuolo.
The club at the end of the 2019/2020 Italian Serie B season finished in the top 6 and secure a spot in the playoffs.
After emerging as the champions of the playoffs, Spezia Calcio secured qualification to play in the Serie A for the 2020/2021 season, a feat that becomes the team’s first in its history.
