Ghana Premier League side, Obuasi Ashanti Gold SC is today conducting a Coronavirus (Covid-19) test for the final batch of its players and staff.
The club is scheduled to participate in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup alongside the local competitions including the Ghanaian top-flight league as well as the MTN FA Cup.
As the officials of the Miners plan ahead, they have this week tested players and staff for the deadly Coronavirus disease.
The COVID-19 screening exercise commenced on Wednesday, August 12, and is ending today, August 14, 2020.
According to reports picked up from Kumasi-based FM, the results of the players and staff tested on the first day of the screening have come out as negative.
"Thank God when the results came, we all tested negative”, a source has disclosed to Oyerepa FM.
With the final batch of testing being done today, the management of Ashanti Gold SC is expected to have the results of all players and staff next week.
