Hearts Of Oak Consoles Benjamin Afutu After Losing Mom
Hearts of Oak is commiserating with midfielder Benjamin Afutu following the passing of his mother on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.
The player who has been a key asset for the Phobian family in the last couple of years lost his mother yesterday with reports suggesting that she has been ill for a while.
At the family house of Benjamin Afutu on Wednesday morning, a delegation from Hearts of Oak led by Managing Director Frederick Moore visited the player to support him through this difficult period.
“A Hearts of Oak delegation led by club CEO Frederick Moore has visited our player, Benjamin Afutu on the passing of his mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this, their grievous moment”, a statement on the Twitter page of the Ghana Premier League side has said.
Team manager, Saban Quaye, and players of Hearts of Oak were in attendance today to console Benjamin Afutu.
