Ghanaian international Samuel Tetteh scored with a sublime finish on Sunday evening to steer LASK Linz to a convincing 2-0 win against Sturm Graz in Austria.

The forward is on loan from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg and has impressed since the 2019/2020 Bundesliga season started.

Though he remains in good form, he started the Matchday 28 fixture at the Merkur Arena from the bench.

A good display from LASK Linz in the first half produced a goal on the 45th minute when striker Marko Raguz converted a spot-kick.

With a man advantage from the first half, the away team continued to dominate in the second half and came close to doubling their lead on several occasions in the early parts of the second half.

On the 58th minute, Husein Balic made way for Samuel Tetteh as the Ghanaian added firepower to the team’s forward line.

In the final 10 minutes of the game, the forward played a one-two with Peter Michorl before firing home a shot to make the scoreline 2-0.

At the end of the 90 minutes, Samuel Tetteh and his LASK Linz teammates bagged all 3 points and are now sitting 4th on the standings of the Austrian Bundesliga table.

This season, the Ghanaian attacker has made 25 appearances and has 7 goals and 5 assists.
