Hearts of Oak new striker, Abednego Tetteh has urged the supporters of the club to back the team with prayers to help them succeed.
The Phobians have in the past decade have failed to lift the Ghana Premier League title or enjoy success in any of CAF’s inter-club competitions.
In a bid to change that status, management of the Phobians has been recruiting top talent to ensure they properly challenge for success on the local scene in hopes that it also translates on the continental stage.
Having wrapped up the signing of Abednego Tetteh on Monday, the lethal striker has called on supporters to back the team in prayer.
“I will urge the supporters to continue to pray for the whole team but not for individual players”, the former Bechem United goal poacher said in an interview with Fox FM.
He added, “We are hoping and praying for COVID-19 to end so that we can continue our football season”.
Abednego Tetteh has been signed on a 3-year contract and will be competing for a starting role with strikers Kofi Kordzi and Danjuma Kuti.
